YOUTH CLASS POLICY

Ripon Youth Center Tuition & Program Policy

 

 

Welcome to Ripon Youth Center!  

We’re delighted you’re part of our community, where every child’s journey is filled with movement, mentorship, and a little bit of magic. To keep things running smoothly and fairly for all, here’s how our tuition and attendance work:

 

Year-Round Tuition: How It Works

One-Year Program: Our classes are designed as a year-long adventure! Some months have three classes, some have four, and a few have five—over the course of the year, it all balances out.

Consistent Tuition: Your monthly tuition reserves your child’s special spot in class, regardless of the number of classes in any particular month.

No Prorates or Refunds: Because tuition is averaged across the year, we do not offer refunds, credits, or prorated adjustments for missed classes, holidays, or months with fewer classes.

 

Holidays & Scheduled Closures

We take a one-week Winter Break in December and a one-week Spring Break each year.

These breaks, along with any other scheduled closures, are already factored into your tuition—no refunds, credits, or make-ups are provided for these dates.

 

Coach Sick Days & Class Coverage

Our coaches are the heart of our program! Each coach has up to five sick days per year, built into our schedule.

We always do our best to have enough coaches to cover every class. Occasionally, life happens and a class may need to be canceled due to illness or emergency.

These rare occurrences are already included in our yearly planning and tuition. There are no refunds, credits, or make-ups for classes canceled due to coach absences.

 

Make-Up Classes

Due to our full and busy schedule, make-up classes are not guaranteed and may not always be possible. Your tuition is for your child’s reserved spot, not just the number of classes each month.

 

Other Common Questions

Illness or Extended Absence: If your child misses class for any reason, we’re unable to offer refunds or credits. Regular attendance is encouraged for the best experience!

Weather Closures: In the rare event of a weather-related closure, we’ll communicate promptly. These are also considered part of our yearly program and are not refundable or credited.

 

Withdrawal Policy & 30-Day Notice

If you need to take a break or withdraw from our program, we kindly ask for a 30-day notice before your child’s last class. This advance notice is a huge help—it allows us to adjust our rosters, welcome new students, and keep our classes running smoothly for everyone.  

We truly appreciate your understanding and communication as it helps us plan ahead and continue to provide a magical, consistent experience for all our families!
